Complicated Interface

The Cameras and the DVR work fine, but the software interface and ALL the instructions are pathetic... Sorry. Most people (including myself) just want to view, record, and review. There are so many options to set, it is very confusing AND very few of the options are explained in normal terms. I am very disappointed in the documentation but pleased with the product.
RE: Complicated Interface
I agree the manual does require technical knowledge to understand most parts. Because of this like all kits Zmodo actually configures the DVR for you so the only settings needing changed is date/time and record mode. If you notice right out of the box the system begins recording as soon as its powered on. Most of the advanced features are used in the business world and not home use so please dont try to learn all the settings as 90% are never used. Anyways, Zmodo has a huge knowledge base set up which is very helpful and easy to understand. Please visit kb.zmodo.com for more info. Thanks again for being a loyal customer..
