Zmodo ZMD-DD-SBN4 is a 4 channel, fully integrated, real time, and hardware based standalone digital video recorder. This standalone DVR is based on an embedded Linux operating system and includes a remote control for easy setup and operation. With the Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) camera control, network access, and USB2.0 backup, this DVR is perfect for the home or small business. If I could list a feature that could have a better explanation for is the "manual record". If when istalling the DVR for the first time, all channels are "checked" in the "manual record" function, there will be confusion when after setting the motion record schedule, you still have the grey dot on the screen and motion record won't function. The cure is to access the "manual record" and uncheck all channels.
