Featuring imaging provided by a 1/3" SONY "Effio" Color CCD, it delivers great video quality at 650TV lines of resolution, reliable operation, long operating life, and premium performance at an affordable price. With built in IR LED Array, this camera can capture video in night vision up to 330' away. This bullet camera is designed for indoor and outdoor use, and can easily be mounted for the perfect viewing angle. BNC and RCA connections are used for video and power. Installation is easy and hassle free, just plug and play.
"Effio" means "Enhanced Features and Fine Image Processor", and it is Sony signal processor which realizes high resolution, high S/N ratio and high color reproduction for security camera.The "Effio" Series realizes a horizontal resolution of over 650 TVL in combination with Sony's newly developed 960H CCD image sensor. This enables to provide clearer pictures with higher sensitivity compared to conventional CCTV cameras. The "Effio-E" is provided in compact LFBGA package, which can contribute to miniaturization and reduced power consumption in camera products.

Want to really see at night? Spend the extra money and get these..

If you want to see at night, you really do need powerful IR light. This camera makes it happen with the side mounted large IR leds. This camera doesn't even compare to the cameras that come in the kit. I'm replacing all my outdoor cameras with this one. The Effio CCD image sensor really helps as well. Don't forget to get a stand alone or larger power supply for the camera (it doesn't come with one, and the stock power supply with the splitter made my cameras a little fuzzy.)I got the 3A power supply, but I'm sure any dedicated camera power supply would work. I can't wait to catch someone with this camera!
