Range of viewing is great, great resolution, and easy to install. Do not use the ptz feature however as installed works great.

This camera with its 35 LEDs and 12 mm lens is very good for both day and night use. The field of view is somewhat limited due to having a 12 mm lens.
I can easily make out types and models of cars at 50 feet from my house at night. I have not tried to read any car tags. But the resolution of 650 tvl is offers very clear images day and night.
The only limit vs the specs has to do with the IR range. 130 feet is optimistic. You will not be able to get a lot of detail like facial detail at 130 feet. Effective range with usable detail for me is around 60 feet. For my use, this camera fits the bill just fine.
The CCD chip seems to perform better in low light situations than the CMOS cameras I purchased.
This is a larger camera that the kit bullet cameras. For me, this as not been a problem.
There is a similar CCD camera that is smaller and offers a wider angle with 6 mm lens. If you need a wide angle view at 30 feet at night, you might want to consider that camera as an option.
Overall, I give this camera 5 stars.
